RECRUITMENT

"Is Greek Life for Me?"

You probably have a lot of questions about sororities and Greek life. It all sounds very intimidating and confusing when you hear about "rushing" and sisterhood, and what the heck do all those Greek letters stand for!?

We are here to provide you with the most genuine and enriching experience of your college career, one that will last a lifetime. We are looking for girls of all walks of life, to be our sisters. We are a very diverse group of girls, with tons of interests, who always have fun! Each of us has committed ourselves to the sisterhood through the recruitment process that you may participate in. And forget what you have heard about "rushing" or "pledging", where you sing songs with underwear on your head. No way! We have a strict anti-hazing policy, which means you have nothing to be worried about. We would never make you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, because you are on your way to becoming our sister, and deserve our respect.

Of course, there are requirements, and the process is a lot of work. We equate it to taking a three-credit course, because it will be challenging. But along the way you will have so much fun while bonding with the girls in your line, and gaining friendship and support of the current sisters. By the time you receive your letters at the end of the processes, you will feel right at home with us and have a large group of besties for a lifetime!

If you have any specific questions, friend us on Facebook and send us a private message.
Thank You!

How does the recruitment process work?

First, we have a bunch of fun events planned during our "Welcome Week," so keep an eye on this site and for posters around campus for event details. These events are purely for fun and to get to meet you potential new members! You will interact with sisters and other potentials while having a great, relaxed and fun time. During this week, our New Member Educator named Jen will be taking "appointments" for interview times for the following week. Interviews last about ten-fifteen minutes and are just a sit down conversation with all of the sisters. After interviews, all potential new members are evaluated on whether we think you are a good fit for our sorority.

What are dues and when are they due?

As associate members, you will be required to pay the same dues that we, as sisters, pay every semester. Two installments of $100 will be due at separate times during your associate member process. The treasurer will collect them in the forms of cash or check at the designated meeting times that she selects. The first installment is paid to our National Board and the second is used in our chapter for things that we purchase for your process. Dues are nonrefundable if you quit the process.

I don't know anyone in the sorority, can I still join?

We love and encourage girls that we do not know to join, so that we can get to know you! It is a great way to make new friends, meet girls your own age and also connect with girls in the older classes.

What if I start the process and end up not liking it?

You may stop the process at any time, for any reason. All that will be required is that your materials be returned and we will be sad to see you go! You are not obligated to continue if you do not like it or any other reason. However, if you begin the process and quit, you are not permitted to ever begin the process again, for example, the next semester.

What are some benefits of joining?

The benefit of joining our sorority is that you will be gaining 30+ best friends for the rest of your college career, all within your first semester of college. We are here to go to lunch with you, meet you for coffee, text you if you are having a bad day, study with you for exams, or just hangout if you are bored. It feels amazing knowing that at any minute, you have a long list of girls that would love to chat or spend time with you. It may not seem so incredible now, but when you have your first insanely hard test, or don’t have any plans on a Friday night, you will be so happy that you have us. And we are always happy to have you.
